ARTS BEYOND BYTES PRESENTS
Encoded Realms
by Sudesh Prasad
April to July
Abstraction from Repetition
Prasad’s sculptural work is the starting point for abstract paintings and drawings. Through the artist’s gaze and the repetition of form, in both two and three dimensions, an abstract process begins.
Bring order to the world
Drawings and paintings are created using regular repeating forms. They present objects that ask the viewer to contemplate the abstract nature of perspective and constructs that order our world.
Using diverse media
wood, stone, charcoal, chalk and paint- Prasad uses simplicity of form to convey complex ideas – turning information and visual stimulus into knowledge that viewers create by interaction with the works.
